While searching for social comments on the fallacies/inconstencies
of offering services '24/7/365' I came across a neat Chrome feature:
 A complete working calculator shows up right above all the Search results! Seems Google has a secret plant to inculcate the masses with arithmetic, algebra and trig. Meanwhile I'm thinking of promoting my tech support as covering '0.00939334637'. What other hidden(?) apps does Google Chrome sport? More than a Chrome thing, it's a Google Search feature that's been around for quite a long while. Other handy features are a Conversion Tool and a Dictionary, amongst much else. See this list http://www.google.co.in/help/features.html

Siddharth beat me to it, but the ability to do calculations from Google Search has been around for a while, although the calculator interface is new since the last time I used it (or I missed it entirely last time). Here's the link to the US version of the Google features: http://www.google.com/help/features.html#calculator If you use iGoogle, you can embed a calculator there: http://www.google.com/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=www.google.com/ig/modules/calculator.xml There are also some calculator extensions for Chrome. I've got Cloudy Calculator (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cloudy-calculator/acgimceffoceigocablmjdpebeodphgc), which works as a popup from the toolbar (saving that whole extra step of opening a new tab...)
