Hey guys, heading to the Philippines soon and planning to explore a few different islands rather than staying in one spot. Never rented a car there before so not really sure how it all works, what documents they ask for, and whether the roads are decent enough to bother. Grab a vehicle with decent ground clearance, not necessarily a full 4x4 but something that can handle an unpaved track without scraping the bottom. Some of the nicest coves are at the end of rough roads, and a low city car just won't make it without damage.
