We signed the lease on the building at 632 Agua Fria and are moving into it last week and this. We received the first installment of the city's $29,000 grant and are kicking off a matching fund campaign as soon as our PayPal account is active, hopefully by Wednesday. Our grand opening will be June 14 and I'll post info on it on our web page by tomorrow. (We're calling it Emergence: The Interaction of Science & Art. We'll look at the interaction between art and complexity with exhibits from Orlando Leibovitz, Jared Tarbell, Paul Paryski and Woody Vasulka; German artist TIm Borgmann will also have work on display. David Coss will opent the formal portion of the evening and Steve Guerin will discuss the complex and its future. Noisefold will end thie evening with a video/musical performance.) So, the complex is happening. Come by for a visit. --- Don Begley Managing Director Santa Fe Complex 624 Agua Fria Santa Fe, NM 87501 www.santafecomplex.org 505-216-7562 505.670.9432 (cell) |
