three other gems this week!

Phil Henshaw-2
I noted three very interesting new hints that "the way things are" just
ain't so.
1. Tuesday's Science Times had a neat story about how the English and
Irish seem to be genetically the same population, that their ancestors
originally came from Spain, and that the Celts, Angles and Saxons
contributed to their gene pool in the manner of cultural invasions, not
physical ones....

2. Similarly for the Americas, Science News had a story about more
precise dating of the earliest Clovis culture sites indicating that they
couldn't have been the community that first settled South America.

Americans" 3/3/07
3. And from Physorg.org there's a report on research showing broad types
of biological inheritance that seem not to be located in the genetic
hardware, but in a kind of 'software' involving degrees of gene
expression.  http://www.physorg.com/news91982805.html
