This is the most frustrating thing about Zoom and WebEx that they seem to assume one speaker at a time and when there are exceptions there are echo effects.

Personally, I think you should simply stop the virtual one when you start up the meatspace one ... go back to the olden times, when coffee was real with full multiplex point-to-point comms aplenty.
