I get a little weirded out when he talks about Rupert Sheldrake, but virtually everything else he discusses I find hard to suppress. And after Sheldrake, he prescribes visiting enemy territory "as a respectful guest, not a hostile spy", which helped me re-read his passage about Sheldrake more thoughtfully.
If Eisenstein's mode is interesting to you, I recommend the David
Abrams recent conversation with him which also spends a lot of
time on "Magic" which I think needn't confront anyone's
sensibilities. They also cover some of the larger issues framing
Climate Change in what I find to be a very enlightened way that
might be easier for (mild?) deniers to hear and a more
expansive/productive way for Climate Change Enthusiasts to hear.
