I have a colleague whose husband is a F16 pilot. (Wow!)   As he moves up through the ranks, she is the main source of income.  
She says things to him like "You're so pretty."   I could live with that (minus the pilot part - not gonna happen).   Get me a shirt with ruffles.   No problem.
