google crome tech support

Greetings again-
Does anyone have experience with the G+ groups tech support?
I ask because I've recently become interested in taking it for a spin. But the idiot thing has been a bit of a headache to even get working and no one on the googles g+ tech support group seems inclined to answer my questions.
