"Equilibrium", and "Josh Epstein" are not two terms that normally correlate with each other.

In my experience philosophical discussions "erupt" rather than emerge... drinking beer, eating ribs, having fun, waxing philosophical all tend to follow a pattern of punctuated equilibrium...
