Of course, a problem with fossil fuels is that the CO2 that gets
generated by combustion wasn't recently matched with CO2->O2. Biofuels
at least address the net CO2 gain. For example, biofuels are
essentially available now, even cellulosic ethanol (ethanol from
agricultural waste material) and its just a question of cost and scale
of production -- an optimization process.
