I bring it up because it might offer some interesting points that would fit into the government / economy / technocracy / social media threads.
The context involves a parliamentary "electronic democracy;" government that finances itself with a monopoly on energy and metals with occasional "gov corps" created to intervene in the free market when it gets rapacious; and densely interconnected media Web with the "Minister of Media" being the second most powerful government official after the Chair of parliament.
