One of reasons I love to read noaa forecasts is the  occasional flashes of linguistic brillliance.

This bit of this afternoon's forecast discussion contains the best linguistic improvization since "least regret forecast".

 
 HEAVY RAIN
WILL BE A CONCERN ALONG WITH THE SEVERE WEATHER. WILL NEED TO WATCH
THIS BUT RESIDENT SOIL MOISTURES PERHAPS QUITE NOT EXASPERATED (sic) ENOUGH
FROM PREVIOUS ACTIVITY. IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST 36 HOURS SINCE THE
PAST EVENT.
