Job Purpose:
CommodiCast is a small firm of 15 employees, providing analytical technologies
and customized software solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotech and
financial services industries. We are 6 years in business with a successful
track record. We are seeking a Trading Systems Operator responsible for
overseeing the daily functioning of a large automated stock trading system.
Essential Functions:
Position duties include proactively addressing trading/technical issues that
arise, effectively communicating with other teams, escalating problem-solving
as necessary, producing daily/monthly reports, trouble shooting as necessary.
Qualified candidates will have basic familiarity with computer operations in a
Windows environment and must be detail oriented, highly dependable and
possess excellent communication skills. Although fully automated, this
position monitors systems that would require more than dozens of employees to
execute manually.
BS degree in business or technical field or equivalent experience required.
Work Environment:
Casual environment, collaborative work with developers and researchers.
