Anyone remember the game Myst, Manhole and what have you? They were these adventuring games made by about relatively small company with the moto "It'll be done when it's polished". They were the software equivalent to JRR Martin.
Sufficed to say in 2013 Cyan's Miller Brothers decided to go for a Kickstarter for a new game called Obduction (yes according to PC gamer and Steam news that's the tittle) Sighting they felt Myst Online was a sufficient way for Myst, and wanting to do something fresh.
Thus far it's it's managed at the moment to stay out of vaporware land initial release do for Fall this year. I mention it as the "Other Densmore" was bemusing about how tech- is kinda bad, and UX testers don't consider him or other Baby-boomer-older-people. I do wonder if he meens: "Ugh tech now is near pesimal, why can't I do (insert something here)!"
Therefore If a video game is one type of software this new adventure may be more older folk friendly, if your into adventure/puzzle video games that is.
