Re: House/Apt. swap -- Complexity in Oregon.

John Balwit

Hi.

I was wondering if any one on this list is interested in a couple of weeks to a month house swap—your Santa Fe house for my ranch on 112 acres in the heart of Willamette valley vineyard country.
I have a great library of complexity related reading and the System Science Dept at Portland State University has regular seminars that might be of interest.

My house is newly built, 3 berm, fireplace, lots of windows looking out on the green outside. My place is quite rural—deer, elk, bear frequent the property. It is less than an hour to the rugged Oregon coast.  Happy to trade for almost any size place in Santa Fe over the holidays and into January.

Vehicles included if you want to fly into Portland.

Re: House/Apt. swap -- Complexity in Oregon.

Nick Thompson

Hi, John,

In my present mood, I would like to slip quietly away by myself and take over your house for the holidays and leave the whole fucking Christmas thing behind me.  Nobody would know where I was.  I would look at your view and read your books.  It would be wonderful.  Not clear how that fantasy ends.

Anyway, none of that is going to happen.  So, second best is that we get together for some coffee while you are here.
