Isnt "foghorn cleghorn" a mixture of two references from the 50's.? one, I think, is to Senator Foghorn, who I think was an occasional character on the Jack Benny Radio Show. "Cleghorn" I cannot do, but it rings a bell. "Fibber McGee and Molly?" Help me out her, folks!
