Whatever happened to those interesting SFI talks about urban planning?

Good question.  The main driver of the SFI project (Jose Lobo) has left
the institute to go back to old haunts, I believe.  Thus the series of
meetings he was holding evaporated.

The book is very interesting, I think .. thanks for the link.  One
cynical observation: all the pictures are during great weather!  What
do designers have to offer when it snows, is cold, or is raining?  I'm
sure there are great solutions, but I'd like to see what they are.
