OK, I've got a friend with a kickstarter:

I have no idea how well he'll do, but I find kickstarter fascinating.  Steve Guerin said it well the other day:

    Twitter.  Twitter?  Who'da thought 140 characters would end up being such a big hit?

I'm wondering if kickstarter will either be a big deal, or spawn several.
