Wed 11a: Rebecca and Allen Wirfs-Brock informal chat at SF_X

Stephen Guerin-3
We  will have an informal chat with Rebecca and Allen Wirfs-Brock at
Santa Fe Complex at 11a.

Rebecca Wirfs-Brock is the author of two books on object analysis and
design and was the primary advocate (along with Kent Beck and Ward
Cunningham) of the "behavioral" object design approach - aka CRC.  She
worked with Ward and Kent at Tektronics, where objects and Smalltalk
were first demonstrating their power.  Currently she is a consultant
and frequent speaker at object, agile, and patterns conferences.

Allen is a language designer, was the founder of Instantiations
(recently sold to Google), and currently works at Microsoft.  Allen
was also involved in the development of javascript.

Thank you to Professor David West and Jenny Quillien for hosting their
visit.

Hola

Maybe you'd like to enjoy wandering by Ward Cunningham's web page. I'm having a funny Saturday.

Hasta pronto
