Most track guidance has continued its shift to the right and now places Galveston-Houston on the weaker left side of the hurricane. Given the "least regret forecast" principle, I am starting to breath a little easier about Jessica and Chris. If one uses trends in forecasters to predict the weather, I would start worrying about Port Arthur at this point.
Still and all, if I were in Houston, I would call up my relatives in San Antonio and invite myself for the weekend.
