Visualizing Social Networks

Jochen Fromm
V.Z. Nuri mentioned the following paper from
Linton C. Freeman (UCI Sociology Professor,
see http://moreno.ss.uci.edu/lin.html )
about "Visualizing Social Networks" on
his theory-edge mailing list:
http://zeeb.library.cmu.edu:7850/JoSS/article.html

I think it looks interesting.

If you are interested in complex networks,
you should also take a look at M.E.J. Newman's
paper about "The structure and function of complex
networks" (cond-mat/0303516). I guess most
of you will know it, it is an excellent summary
and review, and can not be emphasized enough:

Visualizing Social Networks

Stephen Guerin
Thank you for the links, Jochen.

I had seen the Mark Newman review paper, which is excellent.

I had not seen the Freeman article nor the JOSS site
<http://www.cmu.edu/joss/index1.html>. Very cool.
