Since it has been going on for a couple hours now, I was surprised to see nobody had started a thread yet. But do not worry, it ends at ~23:00 MST, or more realistically sundown. I would love to see those with the capability make some time-lapse images - all I can do with my small yard telescope and sun filter is make sketches (although I can make surprisingly nice ones by keeping the optic field in one eye and the paper in the other). This event is much more rare than the recent solar eclipse even considering one area (an 8-year span followed by a >100-year span, repeat; cannot visualise why it does this yet, but that is what the Santa Fe New Mexican said).
For those who do not have even a telescope, there is a live webcast atÂ

Enjoy!
