Uh, oh..

Take a look around you.  Like what you see?  I'm afraid this is as good as it's going to get, at least according to this guy:

Of course, the proper perspective can be found at Slashdot:

Imagine that. Old guy scientist claims that old guys should bag young women. "But, baby, it's scientific!"

I immediately thought of this:

General "Buck" Turgidson: Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn't that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?

Dr. Strangelove: Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious... service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.

Ambassador de Sadesky: I must confess, you have an astonishingly good idea there, Doctor.

I accept my fate. I will propagate with younger women, if for nothing else than to save our species. :)

But there's more recombination now, e.g. from the low cost of travel.
Another source of change are from retroviral insertions.  They say 5-8%
of the human genome is represents that.

Then there's artificial gene therapy and genetic engineering..
