My only concern is that they're still pretty immature technology.
Hopefully they will be the "capacitive" versions which do not
generate an rf pulse which could be picked up by a lurker. Might be
useful to renew our passports before the Oct 06 date.
There are now four primary ID's used in the US:
- Social Security cards/numbers
- Driver's licenses
- Birth certificates
- Passports
I'm concerned that they could become serious identity theft problems.
