Thinlets, Groovy, Luxor and SVG

Owen Densmore

I asked the Groovy list if Thinlets and Groovy have been successfully
used together.  I got some interesting pointers from Gerald Bauer who's
done a lot of work with Luxor and SVG.  Here are some links:

   http://luxor-xul.sourceforge.net/talk/vanx-jul-2002/slides.html
   http://luxor-xul.sourceforge.net/talk/jug-nov-2002/slides.html

BTW: I'm sending this to Friam rather than WedTech 'cause I think there
are lots of folks interested in tech discussions who are not on the
WedTech list.  I suspect we should expand/augment WedTech to include
not only the folks interested in the Wed meetings, but also the techies
among us.

Background: One of our WedTech interests is rapid application
prototyping.  Using Thinlets is a very quick way to build fairly
complex GUIs via XML.

Thinlets, Groovy, Luxor and SVG

Stephen Guerin
I've followed SVG from the sidelines. Is there a way to do interactive apps
in the client that doesn't require a roundtrip to the server yet?
