The triumph (or co-opting) of capitalism over terror?

And it looks like some familiar names are behind it.

The problem to me seems to be that the Pentagon will use price discovery
to act, thereby negating the value of the contract.

But is that any different that deciding where to put your combines based on
the futures price of corn?

All the usual suspects, and our old friends and contacts.  Plus the
Virginia Mason connection.

Efficient market hypothesis?  If markets were truly efficient, there
would be a lot less opportunity.  Any case that is truly interesting is
far from equilibrium and irrational and not efficient.

One imagines what market manipulation would look like in this case.  We
might yearn for the sweet old days of Enron.
