The northern NM Friam cohort will be interested to know that Santa Fe Design Week 2006 (Oct. 22nd to Oct. 29th) is organized around the concept of "design as a process," focusing on whole-systems approaches to complex problems -- economic, social, environmental, and political.
Friam regular Merle Lefkoff, a global peace negotiator devoted to the facilitation of whole system change, will moderate two roundtables of community leaders and out-of-the-box thinking, both open to Friam and public participation.
