Santa Fe Wifi coffee shop and bike repair

Stephen Guerin-2
While this isn't exactly an Applied Complexity issue, I thought the group
may be interested in a place where Applied Complexity can be done :-)

Sun Mountain Bike & Coffee Company <http://www.sunmountainbikeco.com> at 102
East Water Street has decent breakfast burritos, bike repair and *free*
wifi. They're easier to find around the corner on Shelby street next to the
Pinkoyote and across the street from Julian's.

Disclaimer: I have no stake in the success of the coffee shop but do want a
free downtown wifi spot to persist :-)

Steve

Santa Fe Wifi coffee shop and bike repair

Stephen,

Carl and I were just discussing where to go for our Friam coffee gathering
now that winter is approaching, so your info is very timely. How much inside
space does this place have? I don't want to totally overtake the place and
scare other customers away if there are 15-20 of us.

Belinda

It's pretty tight inside with maybe 5 or 6 tables and 8 tables outside.
Also, parking would be a problem.

However, there's a compound of shops in there so there may be some options.

Possible winter venues

Gary Schiltz-3
A couple of suggestions:

Santa Fe Baking Company (Cordova & Don Diego) - great coffee, lots of parking,
large indoor space, wireless access (probably not free)

Cloud Cliff Cafe (between 2nd Street & San Mateo) - great coffee, limited
parking, large indoor space - http://www.kanseki.net/cloudcliff/

Is there any reason why we can't return to Museum Hill? It was a great
cool/cold weather venue.

I thought they moved to a 10AM opening time.   Yep that's what the web site
says Tues-Sat 10AM-3PM.

I'd prefer an earlier start rather than later.

Guess what comes up on the first page of hits if you search "museum hill
cafe"
on Google?

The www.walterburkecatering.com/MuseumHillCafe site says 10AM-3PM
but the
http://www.museumhill.org/dine.html site says 9AM-3PM

The cafe's phone message says they open at 10AM.  I called the
catering folks (the owners, not the cafe itself) and got a live
person who said it would open at 10 through the winter.

Alas, maybe.

I too prefer a 9am start ... I thought that the 10am opening at Museum Hill
was just a "Summer" schedule.
