I spoke too soon, as I have since read a bit more of Gary's blog entries and have to adjust my former statement: I have a similar penchant for self-reliance and tinkering my way through problems perhaps, but probably not at all like him with his rants. I don't completely disagree with questioning government, etc... I'm just not as single-minded! I was hoping there would be more material on your blog describing what you all are up to down there... I'm reading between the lines but I'd like to know more! I think I'm reading that your main goal is to establish a sustainable homestead there, away from the expected ravages of a collapsing first world economy/infrastructure and with the many advantages of a tropical climate in terms of energy and food scarcity? - Steve -------- Forwarded Message --------
