Rooftop networkingColleagues
This is a GREAT piece, and I think we should do it in Santa Fe. Our La
Canada Wireless Association (south US285/Eldorado) is working nicely (T-1
speeds), with about 30 users. The MIT project, however goes beyond our mere
T-1 connectivity, and is trying to optimize data transmission in its mesh
net. OUR setup costs are vastly cheaper than theirs ($600+) ... under $300.
I'm certain that our La Canada leader, Bob Knight, would help us out, but
someone has to really spearhead it (I don't have time). Who will step
forward ?
Richard
