Re: [WedTech] Academic library

Nick Thompson

I am a member of such a library thru my emeritus status and even so, about half the stuff I look for is behind some sort of a paywall.   Many of the major publishers are busily cutting off their own noses to spite their faces, and they’ve got their noses pretty much level to their faces by now.  Sad.

There may be others who are more sophisticated than I in the use of an online library and/or have access to better libraries.  A FRIAM posting might get us some general information about what the best and worst of such services is.   So, I will forward this to the FRIAM list.   Nick

It would be great if wedtech members could get access to an online academic library.
