Producing Infographics

Tom Johnson
A handful of folks this morning expressed interest in the printout I brought
to What-Used-To-Be-Jane's coffeehouse produced by Alberto Cairo, an Spanish
infographic specialists now teaching at U of North Carolina.

Here's the link to Alberto's site:

*) Here's the link to one of his handouts that's an interesting read:

*) Here's the link to the 21mgb zipped PDF file of the printout I had with
me today:

Producing Infographics

Justin Lyon
FRIAM Colleagues,

You can also use cartoon-like drawings (Graphic
Recording and Facilitation) during meetings to capture
ideas and for strategic planning.

Learn more here:
http://www.ffwdgroup.com/pictureyourfuture.pdf

There are examples of work in the document. It's fun
to do. And, it's turns boring meetings into exciting
(and highly productive) meetings.

I'm combining these ideas with Dr. Kim Warren's ideas
on applying system dynamics to strategic challenges to
create engaging workshops with senior executives that
tap into their creative sides (via the cartoons) with
their analytical side (by capturing info on stocks and
flows). It's all done in real-time during the meeting.

Like John Tedstrom says in his paper.."You've got to
see it to believe it!"
