Pogue on Netbooks: Buying the Best Netbooks for the Least-Bad Compromises

David Pogue wrote a piece on netbooks:
   http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/26/technology/personaltech/26pogue.html?_r=1

I think he makes a serious error, however: he only considers full XP
systems, leaving out the cheaper Linux systems, with less disk or SDD
only storage.

But it's interesting to see what the civilians want.

Me, I want something with very little storage, with a flip screen so
converts to a tablet and is a good book reader and has a enough
battery life so that I don't drag around a power brick.  I guess
that's around 5 hours.  Oh, and is $350 max.
