Some of us have been using Atom text editor. Its a bit crazy, built on Node.js desktop, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. There are several general efforts along those lines, e.g. https://github.com/faylang/fay/wiki http://www.skybluetrades.net/blog/posts/2012/11/13/fay-ring-oscillator/index.html Anyway, while I think source to source tricks are neat, eventually having a GHC WebAssembly target would be better.
