Some years back, I looked into switching from being a paid government
hacker to becoming a technology lawyer. I took the LSAT and scored very
high, talked to UNM Law School which was interested because I'm part
Indian. Then I realized that I'd have to quit work for a year and I
would end up starting as a lawyer making about two-thirds what I was
making as a computer scientist. So, I ended up giving the whole thing a
miss - the closest I get to law nowadays is the Sandia legal department
and GrokLaw. But, I can also say - I'm never bored!
