Now For Something Different

Gillian Densmore

Trying out Pale Moon. It's a pretty neet little  retro style browser.

https://www.palemoon.org/
Only been using it for a day or so. So far so good.^_^ I like how zippy it is. so far. Kind of like a nice middle ground between the extremes of FireFox and Chrome. I don't recall now why I decided to take it for a spin. But glad I did!

If you decide to try it be warned It might grow on you, and if you (like me) like or rely on certain extensions. You may need to rumage through the archives to see if they have a older compatible version.
Still pretty cooll YAR!

I used Pale Moon for a number of months until about a year ago.  Low overhead but I found that for unknown reasons it didn't play well with a number of extensions I liked, so I returned to FFox.  I especially like its bookmark program.  (Chrome's is terrible.)

LOL yeah Chromes bookmarks system I agree needs help. Palemoon basically use 'compabitlity mode' (re: fake playing well )

Their's few nice what I call my 'weekend browsers'  older style lite weight nothing fancy  browsers.  SeaMonkey and Older versions of FFox (think 25 and 26)
FFox's crash handling in a weird way for me almost a little better than Chromes on windows only because if, I duno Spofity was playing it doesn't start it.
