New York Times Photo Opp=

Victoria Hughes
For those of you with slow uploads info re the link below:
The NYT is running 'A Moment in Time' global photography gig.
They ask people around the world to take a picture of their locations at the same moment, with any kind of camera (they even mention phones, etc- Owen, maybe you can just wave your iPad around your backyard?) and send it off to them as a jpg by Friday.
Time for the picture: 1500 GMT, and local equivalents are mentioned in the site.
They hope to publish almost all of them online.
Specifics-

Tory:  (if you will allow the familiar term)

Thanks for your suggestion.  I just uploaded a picture of Bleeding Hearts
(Dicentra Spectabilis) also known as Dutchman's Trousers.    I am not
photo savvy but it was a pleasant 1/2 hour in the morning wondering around
unscheduled in the backyard looking for something to add to the "Moment in Time"
at the NYT.

Hey there Steph-
Glad you had a pleasant morning! Yup, it was a fun treasure-hunt of a photo opp.
Here in Santa Fe we had a brief but impressive blizz-ette right at 9am, by the bells of the cathedral. I took a picture of the Plaza amidst snow on May 2. gosh.
Bleeding Hearts are a lovely plant. Look forward to seeing the image.

and sure, if I didn't want to be called Tory I wouldn't put it out there...

Snow in New Mexico on May 2nd!   That will be a great shot.
Here in Minne-snow-ta we don't get much of that stuff in May.  So,
you have bragging rights:   "NM has more snow than Minnesota!"
