Looking around for more in-depth information on the depression, I
discovered that NPR is doing a lot of blogging including a section on the economy: http://www.npr.org/blogs/money/ Here are two interesting posts I found through Planet Money. This is a detailed list of where the layoffs are: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive And here are some articles specifically looking at the stimulus package. I like the one with the map colored according to how much they'll get: http://www.npr.org/blogs/money/unpacking_the_stimulus/ -- Owen ============================================================ FRIAM Applied Complexity Group listserv Meets Fridays 9a-11:30 at cafe at St. John's College lectures, archives, unsubscribe, maps at http://www.friam.org |

I have an acquaintance who claims this
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=av9blGGaNs0o is "proof" that the Democrats caused our current economic recession. It is scary how many people think this way. Using the word "think" in its loosest sense. --Doug On Mon, Feb 9, 2009 at 10:38 AM, Owen Densmore <[hidden email]> wrote: Looking around for more in-depth information on the depression, I discovered that NPR is doing a lot of blogging including a section on the economy: ============================================================ FRIAM Applied Complexity Group listserv Meets Fridays 9a-11:30 at cafe at St. John's College lectures, archives, unsubscribe, maps at http://www.friam.org |
