My Del seems kuput

Gillian Densmore
Greetings all!

It seems like the power system for my DEL is kerput.

Anyone have opinions on where to find a fun to use budget sensetive  computer  wich can easly handle games yet then fun to  learn JavaScript and Python on.
I don't know if it makes much difference my DEL monitor looks like it can handle HDMI, and has VGA of some kind.

I am also mulling over  some combination of mabie an Xbox and computer so as to save wear and tear on my laptop-

Finaly if Friam isn't the apropiate place for opinions, feel free to point me in the fight direction.

I just recently bought an Intel NUC. Very compact (about the size of a
thick paperback), but a powerful desktop machine as well (powerful
enough for my C++ development needs when on the road).

Entry level NUC may suit your budget...

Cheers

Good direction, I think.

I did a similar thing for several years: I got a Mac Mini and used it for a desktop. The NUC is sorta a Windows/Linux version?

While trying to find out how much the NUC5i7RYH weighs, I got a kick out of the NaNs in the Date field:

Last week I bought one of these on a special for $95 including shipping.  The price is up a bit now, but so far I'm impressed as a road laptop.
