I'd like to see the convergence come back where possible: HTML5/CSS3/JS can deliver "phone Apps" for 80% of the apps out there. Kindle replacing their iPhone app with HTML5 (to avoid the "tax" of selling through the App Store) proved to me that many of the existing Apps could do so. I think even Flipboard could do so .. one of the best new break-out Apps for the iPad.
