The NM Economic Development Department would like to invite you to
participate in the first meeting of the New Mexico Micro and Nanosystems
Technology Partnership ("MiNaTeP").
The meeting will be held on January 25, 2005 at 1:30 pm in the PERA
Building, Apodaca Hall, on the 2nd Floor.
MiNaTeP will initiate further awareness of the State's Microsystems and
Nanotechnology infrastructure outside New Mexico; help align the existing
workforce with research facilities, industry and academia; define strategies
to attract new talent; examine opportunities for the financing of research
and commercial enterprises; and heighten public awareness of technological
achievement in this field within New Mexico.
The meeting will be introduced by Cabinet Secretary Rick Homans; and
co-chaired by Dr. Andres C. Salazar, PNM Chair in Microsystems and
Commercialization of Technology at the University of New Mexico; and by Mr.
Gary DuBro of the Air Force Research Lab.
Confirmed attendees will include representatives of Intel, Boeing SCS,
Peregrine, MEMX Corporation, PNM, CIC Photonics, Zirecle LLP, MesoSystems
Inc., TVC, UNM, NMSU, and TVI, among others.
