the list with your current interests/pursuits. Hi. I'm Doug Roberts, recently retired from LANL, now full-time consultant. I was introduced to this group by one of the members of the band I'm in. Hope to show up for coffee some Friday. Complexity background: I'm one of the first developers of TRANSIMS -- a large-scale distributed population mobility [traffic flow] simulation. I spent 8 years working on TRANSIMS, then went off to help develop EpiSims, a follow-on effort which resulted in an epidemiological simulation system now used by NHS, DHS, and others. Other stuff: Creator, maintainer, chief cat-herder of the LANL blog. Look forward to meeting the group.
