Cris Moore's CS500/CS491, Theory of Computation course will be
available here in Santa Fe this spring semester! It will use the ITV (Instructional TV) facilities at CCSF. It is held on Tues/Thurs, 2:00-3:15. I believe Jan 19 is the first class, looking at the UNM calendar. The class is based on Cris's book The Nature of Computation, most of which is available on its website as pdfs. This will let you look at the material covered. Cris is a SFI professor, in case you have not met him. Let me know if you would like to attend. I am currently going through the admissions and registration process and should be able to help. I will also go out to CCSF to view the facilities. I mentioned the chapters are available as pdf's. Some of you have
already tried and found a login is required. The authors will send you a login if your contact them. On the Samples page, you'll see: The chapters that are underlined are available for people who are interested in proofreading or beta-testing them in their class. Please contact the authors if you are interested to get the samples. If you click on the authors link, and click on their individual images, you'll go to their home pages.
