Fwd: The Most Innovative Cookbook Today — Ming Tsai

This is way cool.  Ming Tsai's new cookbook, has, get this .. a QR code for both a video of making the recipe, and the shopping list for the recipe

http://www.ming.com/in-your-kitchen.htm
Quote: And the groundbreaking twist is that each of these recipes has a QR code that lets you access streaming instructional videos. Ming demonstrates the specific techniques and methods with each of them. These same QR codes also download the recipe's shopping lists right to your mobile device. Cooking, learning and shopping has never been easier.

Re: [WedTech] Fwd: The Most Innovative Cookbook Today — Ming Tsai

Carrera, Fabio
Cool.  I have been planning to shoot my mom -- not in the matricide way -- and capture her best Venetian dishes.
I have the GoPro and will be shooting her (figuratively) in October/November.

This is very apropos.

Thanks

I like the style of Ming's videos... but in the *VERY FIRST ONE* he makes a huge technical mistake?  He makes a big point of cutting the onion "pole-to-pole" but in fact cuts it the opposite (conventional) way?

Really?
