Some of the network analytics and visuals in the messages and links below might be of interest to some FRIAM-ers.

I have seem these amazing Twitter hashtag visualizations by Erin Gallagher. If anything like this exists for Facebook, I'd love to see it!

This link can be helpful. Step one is to find the FB user number.

1. https://inteltechniques.com/menu.html - Click "Facebook" in the menu on the left, then find the page's username (for example, if my facebook profile is https://www.facebook.com/jason.paladino1, "jason.paladino1" would be my username.) Copy that into the (Displays User Number) field, generate the number and populate all the boxes. This can at least give you a good idea of all the user's facebook activity. All of these prompts can be replicated within URLs, but this tool seems much easier.

Last year, a colleague who had resisted Facebook finally signed up. Because she wanted to register under her initials (the only name I and others know her by), she had to go through multiple hoops to prove she was, in fact, a person. Wonder if the page you are looking into violates Facebook's terms of service in that way.

I'm sure I am terrible at virtual investigations into Facebook, but over the past years, the platform has become more opaque rather than less. And what I did find, I really could not honestly confirm.

I'd be very interested in the state of the looking-into-Facebook art.

Hi,

during an investigation in the German alt-right movement I came across a Facebook page, which posts pro-Assad messages and invites to rallies. The quest is to find out, who is behind this. It seems they're trying to keep people from finding out. No names in the about section only a e-mail-adress, which only pops up connected to this page. I'm familiar with the OSINT tools for Graph Search, they mainly seem to be working with profile of natural persons. Therefore I'm a bit stuck.

I am now looking for ways to further investigate this page. Any tips and ideas are more than welcome. :)

Cheers!
Nico
