Fwd: NYTimes.com: IPhone App to Sidestep AT&T

Robert Cordingley sent this to me, and I thought I'd share.  Pogue is a winner anyway, so Robert too makes it a sure bet!

Why is Toktumi important?  It offers a replacement for the entire iPhone phone app that has huge bells and whistles for business types, works over wifi and 3g internet, and even can turn the iTouch into a phone!

Yet another piece of making the internet replace phone, tv, radio, books, libraries, and a whole lot more.

Pogue thought so too!  Feel free to post to FRIAM.  This Gmail address I use for the NYT isn't my FRIAM subscriber.
Thanks,
Robert
