The theme for this year is “Mentoring Theory & Practice: Learning from the Past & Envisioning the Future”. The keynote speaker for the conference is Kathy Kram, Professor of Organizational Behavior at Boston University. Among her many achievements, Kathy Kram received the 2002 National Academy of Management Mentoring Award and has multiple publications on mentoring, including her seminal book Mentoring at Work, and her last co-authored volume with Prof. Belle Rose Ragins, the Handbook of Mentoring at Work: Theory, Research and Practice. This year’s conference theme will focus on joining mentoring professionals from various disciplines to exchange ideas on how the role of established mentoring theories and practices will contribute to the future of mentoring. Abstracts must be submitted as papers, posters and/or round-table discussions. Proposals may be experiential in nature or reports of research. Abstracts for posters or round tables should state the problem or question addressed and an overview of the content. Round table submissions should include a statement of the background and expertise of the person submitting to lead the discussion.
