My art theme: Dynamic exposition of the tension between matrix order and luminous chaos.

"Attempt what is not certain. Certainty may or may not come later. It may then be a valuable delusion."

From "Notes to myself on beginning a painting" by Richard Diebenkorn.

"It's that knife-edge of uncertainty where we come alive to our truest power." Joanna Macy.

Good morning everyone,

This week we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Malihe Alikhani of the University of Pittsburgh as our LTI Colloquium guest speaker. The title of Malihe's talk is Learning to Connect Images and Text for Natural Communication. Further details of our speaker as well as her topic are provided in the attached poster.

Please join us on Zoom on Friday, November 20th at 1:30 PM EST. Passcode: 883155.

By way of reminder, you can access video recordings of the talks on the LTI Youtube Channel. Please note that it does take several days for the most recent talk to be uploaded to the channel.

Don't hesitate to reach out to me with any question you might have.

Best wishes,
John Friday
