The Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation (
http://jasss.soc.surrey.ac.uk) published the first issue of Volume 9 on 31
January 2006.

JASSS is an electronic, refereed journal devoted to the exploration and
understanding of social processes by means of computer simulation.   It is
freely available, with no subscription.
=================

This issue, with 15 peer-reviewed articles, features a section on Opinion
Dynamics, a section on Reputation in Agent Societies guest edited by Mario
Paolucci and Jordi Sabater, three articles on cultural group formation and
transmission, two articles on cooperation, two on aspects of developing
simulation models,  and, in the Forum, a debate about the epistemological
basis of simulation and some recommendations about how to report on social
simulation research that will be of interest to authors and referees.
