​Oddly, though, it's not entirely Android, its a highly modified version of Android .. and it can't run all Android apps, for example.​  It does run some, not sure how to tell which easily, however.

So why?  Why not just toss all the krufty noise that Samsung and others have, theme it as they'd prefer, and build *on top* of Android?  It does support tilt gestures in interesting ways, but surely they can build Android drivers for that.

​Possibly its shopping orientation creates legal problems with Android?

BTW: Is this the same as the tablet?  .. i.e. "almost" Android?
